We focus on the education of wildlife, lore, and history of the island, all while navigating you to the best locations given the tides and winds. We want to make sure you have an Adventure to remember! We recommend you booking if you're looking for an up-close experience with nature and have good physical aptitude! Assateague Island and it's waterways host an abundance of wildlife including ponies, dolphins, a diverse variety of birds, marine species and so much more! Although, we can never guarantee what wildlife we will see, we do our best to actively search for them in the areas they frequent.
Assateague Adventures values your safety, we will always choose the best route depending on winds and tides to ether see the lighthouse, travel in the marsh coves, or explore the private beach and look for what the tide has uncovered! Current and wind may make this to be a challenging activity so it is always best to be physically fit and know your limits.

We feel our customers need time to explore this beautiful area, and that’s why we give a half day and full day option when renting with Assateague Adventures! We can deliver to you or meet you at our mobile ramp at Memorial Park! We will let you know which way is best suitable for tides and winds as well if you would like.
